Animal care also offers the opportunity for stable employment and an attractive salary. Veterinary surgeons need technologists, assistants and clerical staff. There are also job opportunities with pet stores, animal breeders, farms and more.
However, a simple love for animals is usually not enough to land a job in this field. Veterinary medicine is even more complex than human medicine due to the wide variety of animal species that need medical care. If you want a veterinary surgeon to hire you over all the other applicants, you must have knowledge that will be of value to the practice. An excellent way to attain that knowledge and achieve an edge over other applicants is by obtaining your Veterinary Support Assistant Diploma. Our programme allows you to study at home, in your spare time at your own pace.
